Bob Harvey first met Annette Adkins during study hall in 1955—and was immediately smitten. "I couldn’t take my eyes off her," Harvey told the New York Times. "She had auburn hair and a stunningly beautiful face and her eyes were just, wow." The two teens ended up going to prom together, but as many young relationships go, they lost touch after high school and married other people. Harvey never forgot about Adkins, though. In 2017, after his wife died, he searched for Adkins on Google and discovered she had also become widowed. He sent her a card with his phone number and after chatting for a bit, Harvey drove 500 miles to visit her, stopping only for gas and a bouquet of carnations. "I handed her the flowers, and then I cupped her face in my hand and said, 'Whether you like it or not, I’m going to kiss you,'" he recalled. In October, the high school sweethearts married at a '50s-style diner and danced to Johnny Mathis—just like they did at prom 63 years earlier.

I got a letter!!!! in the mail

 

I got a letter Thursday. The day I also blogged about missing him so much!! Talk about Luck huh??? 😁I was and still are happy about it. 😀🥰Most deff!!! He needs some help again. Im happy to help. Im doing better financially too. 

They recieved a tablet in the prison. I read about it somewhere that they would do it. He said they can rent movies and games. That he overextended it LMAO.😂😂 I understand that he got excited and that he just clicked and did without thinking.... 😜🤪

Happy Valentines Day

 

Im not doing anything "romantic" today. 🧐Im just at work and then home. Im actually feeling a bit sick but I wont stay home.🤫 Im not working with anyone and I doubt I will get anyone sick. 😒🙄I know that the company i work with dont have alot of people to fill in if someone is sick. I have filled in for them...Who is gonna do it for me???  🤔I just have little sore throat.😷 Hope fully I will feel better tomorrow. 🤪😌😴😏

I got a cute Christmas card

I got this cute Christmas card in the mail today.!!!! from my man.❤️ Im so happy to hear from him again🥰. I have to write back to his letter  tomorrow. Just been so tired with work and such. I got some good news : I will contine cleaning the school. They extended the contract!!!!🎉🎊🥳 WOOHOO!! but my work schedule will be from 4 pm to 8 pm. I can work with that. Doesnt matter for me if its in the morning or later. 

Im just happy to hear that!!!!☺️😮🥳🥳🥳 🙃

I got a letter yesterday !!!!!!!!

 

Yesterday I got a letter from my guy!!!! 😮😍Yes a real letter and he said;  The mail room has been messing with his mail and people arent getting his letters and he didnt get peoples letters? Hmm 🤔 I wonder what they are up to? Hopefully it will get resolved. But Im just a BIG RELIEF🥴 he is not gone. It felt so empty and alone without him.😔 THis week rocks🤩. Im glad he is okay and that he still loves me. 😘🥰My biggest fears is being totally alone. That would be terrifying. But who knows... 😱😱 For now I'm enjoying it 💌💞💕❤️❤️💋
